2019 is nearly finished and we hope it was a great year full of adventures and positive moments. But it is also time to think about the next year’s travel destinations, therefore, we are happy to share with you our adventure trip in Nepal – 2020. Nevertheless, the below list is not explicit so do not hesitate to contact us if you have your own dream destinations in Nepal we could help you organize.
Volunteering trips
2 weeks volunteering and adventure trip
When: from 8th April until 30 April 2020
Where: Kathmandu, our natural camp in Siurenitar, Pokhara and all activities sides
Our NGO partner: Eh Opp and Lovely Nepal
Highlights: We invite you to join our 2020 project as a volunteer. You will be able to see where all our donations are spent as well as you can be part of our social project. We will support schools that were rebuilt after the earthquake and need a finishing touch like a painting. , We will have great fun during rafting on Budhi Gandaki, during Mardi Himal Base Camp and sightseeing Kathmandu, Pokhara and of course the local villages. You will definitely experience Nepalese culture and hospitality.

13 days Ganesh Himal trekking and rafting
When: 1st October 2020, or on request
Where: Best Adventure Nepal camp, Ganesh Himal and Budhi Gandaki river
Highlights: Enjoy 10 days trekking in the Ganesh Himal area which is located in the central-eastern region. It offers an adventure into a remote land with breathtaking views and a chance to get to know local people. After the adventure begins we will walk through foothills and farm terraces before reaching the ethnic village at higher altitude. You will experience the view of Ganesh Himal, Langtang, Bouddha Himal and other mountains along the way until we reach Sing La pass at 4200m and Pasang La Pass at 4100m. After the trek, you will jump into the boat and have adrenaline during 3 days rafting on Budhi Gandaki river. It is an amazing, rarely visited river with plenty of great rapids and adrenaline rush. Our trip will finish at our eco-camp where we will enjoy a barbeque.
16 days Annapurna Circuit trekking and Upper Budhi Gandaki rafting
When: 25th October 2020, or on request
Where: Best Adventure Nepal camp, Annapurna range, and Budhi Gandaki river
Highlights: We start our adventure with the Upper Budhi Gandaki rafting expedition. Then to experience cultural and scenery diversity we follow Annapurna Circuit, which is one of the best Nepal treks. We walk through the Marsyangdi Valle to the north of the Himalayan range in order to cross 5416m pass to descent the Tibetan scenery of Upper Kali Gandaki valley.

1-day Trishuli rafting
When: daily
Where: Best Adventure Nepal camp, Trishuli river
Highlights: If you don’t have lots of time but would like to try rafting in Nepal, then the Trisuli rafting or kayaking day trip is one of the best choices. The starting point is 72 km (approx. 3-4 hours) from Kathmandu. This trip is a great break from the city noise or a stopover between Kathmandu and Pokhara (the most popular tourist destinations in Nepal). It offers relaxed rafting with some big rapids. We will provide you the picnic-style lunch on a white sandy beach. After the day of adventure, you might choose to stay overnight at our riverside camp, extend your trip with some kayaking or canyoning or travel on to Kathmandu, Pokhara or Chitwan. It is open all year round, even during the monsoon!
3 days/ 2 nights Upper Budhi Gandaki rafting expedition
When: 23rd March, 14th April, 1st May, 10th October, 25th October or on request
Where: Best Adventure Nepal camp and Budhi Gandaki river
Highlights: Like every year we promote our favorite river for your rafting trip. During the first day, we leave for the expedition from our camp (or on request from Kathmandu). During that day we will be passing through the beautiful traditional Nepalese villages. The starting point is in Arhet which is very close to the Tibetan border and where you can see the view of Mt. Manasalu (the 8th highest peak in the world). During the second day, you enjoy full-day rafting with great rapids. Last day we will enjoy half-day rafting with the finishing point at our camp. This rafting trip is unique and not touristic and water will make you tired and excited at the same time. Constant rapids will bust your adrenaline rush. Campfire and riverside camping will make you happy and fulfilled.
12 days Tamur rafting expedition
When: 2nd November or on request
Where: Tamur river
Highlights: Tamur rafting expedition is a selection of our adventure trip in Nepal 2020 we offer. It is a combination of trekking and world-class rafting. We suggest an early morning flight from Kathmandu to Biratnagar (approx. 45 minutes) but the cheaper option to get to Biratnagar is to take a bus which leaves a day before and will take approx. 20 hours.
• Drive (by bus or Jeep) to Basantapur. Here we will camp and get ready for the next day trekking where we will be walking for 3 days from Basantapur to Dobhan. During the trek expect to see spectacular Himalayan mountains including Mount Everest, Makalu, and Kanchanjunga. On the way, we will pass the beautiful lake at Gofa Pokhari.
• After 5 days of trekking, we finish our hike in Dobhan and it will be finally time for rafting or kayaking. The continuous Whitewater of the Tamur river will guarantee your lifelong memories. From Dobhan we will have 120 km of white water with over 100 class 3+ and 4+ rapids. After the exciting days, we will camp on the sandy beaches and enjoy delicious food.
• On the 5th day on the river, we will finish in Chatra, where you will be transferred to the Biratnagar airport or you can join the gear bus back to Kathmandu.

Trekking expeditions
5 days Mardi Himal trek
When: 10 October, 20 November or on request
Where: Pokhara, Mardi Himal Base Camp
Highlights: This short trek was open a few years ago and every year it is getting more popular. The trail goes along small paths, rhododendron forests until the higher elevation of around 3000m where the landscape change to the high mountain with beautiful views of Mardi Himal, Machapuchare and Annapurna. From High Camp of 3700m, we encourage you to climb up to the Mardi Himal Base Camp.
18 days Langtang Gosaikunda trek
When: On request
Where: Kathmandu, Lantang Valley
Highlights: It is a great combination of high mountains and lake series which will take you to the holy lake of Gosaikunda at the elevation of 4450m above the sea level. The trek overnight stays will be in teahouses and lodges.
