Sailendra Regmi

Sailendra is the owner of Best Adventure Nepal. He is a certified instructor who has been working in the outdoors for over 20 years. Highly qualified rafting and kayaking guide. He loves nothing more than paddling the world’s best rivers.

Over the years, he has worked and paddled many rivers in Europe, North America, North Africa and South Asia, experiencing different cultures. From 2010 to 2013, he was the reigning kayaking champion of the Himalaya Whitewater Festival.

His passion for the outdoors includes climbing, trekking and team building. Sailendra is not good at sitting still. His infectious enthusiasm shows through in all his endeavours, as does his natural ability to bring out people’s best performances.

He has completed his raft guide qualification with IRF (Swiss Rafting Federation), White Water Rescue Technician (Rescue 3 International), multiple Norwegian first-aid courses for outdoor activities and a First-Aid Course at the Red Cross Society in Kathmandu.

Sandip

Sandip joined our team 2 years ago. He is our trainee guide, and thanks to his hard work and focus, he is becoming a great kayaker and rafting guide. When not at the river, he will organise all activities during your stay at our River’s Edge Resort. He is a key player in our team.

At first, he seems very quiet; however, in the peaceful style, he enjoys introducing others to the simple joys and thrills of the river lifestyle.

He is a quick learner with lots of potential, and we are looking forward to his development into a superb guide. 

Manoj

Manoj is an experienced rafting guide and safety kayaker. He has been our valued team member on and off for the last eight years. 

Between the countless seasons he spent in Nepal, he also worked in India. He lives for the river and enjoys introducing others to the simple joys and thrills of the river lifestyle. In the absence of Sailendra, he is one of the first points of contact for all our guests in Nepal. He always ensures that your stay at our resort or activity is as smooth as possible and that all your needs are fulfilled.

Bikram

Bikram is a new member of our team. He enjoys interacting with everyone and will welcome you with a big smile when visiting our resort. While in our resort, he will greet you, serve you and provide you with all the information you need while staying with us. He is very competitive and is always keen to learn new things.

Ram (``Punte``)

Punte is Ram’s nickname. He is our driver and another new member of our team. He will be the first to pick you up from the airport, ensuring your travel is as smooth as possible (considering the Nepalese roads). His positive attitude brings excellent value to our team.

We have a network of highly professional guides who support us depending on their specialty and the trips that our clients choose. When conducting certain rafting, kayaking, paragliding, canyoning and trekking trips, we like to call on local experts who know the region and the activity better than anyone. We are a close-knit community of Nepal’s leading adventure guides who have known each other for years. This community is based on the utmost trust and professionalism.
